4/6 evening update

The girls had a great afternoon. They are both off of the oxygen and have moved into the same isolette (I think that's what it's called) AND they are being moved into the level 2 intensive care unit. It may be default, but the level 1 NICU was filled up so they wanted to move the babies that are doing the best out to make room for more. Well we graduated!

Tonight, we put off our dinner for a while so we could spend some very quality time with the girls. We held the girls up against our bare chests to help keep them warm outside of their isolettes. They are very powerful heat generators. Lisa and I were sweating within minutes. Those girls are putting out a lot of heat.

We spent some time with them before our friends Lisa and Ben showed up for the first time to see the girls. We talked with them over dinner and are now relaxing in our room before our 8pm pump.
