What's going on with us?!

Just a quick update to share what the latest news is in Brownville. Sam is leaving us for Chicago at the end of the weekend. Since the movers got a head start with his stuff, he moved in with us Monday evening. So we've been having nonstop fun these last two days and plan on maintaining or increasing the level of fun through the next 5 days.

As for the girls, they are growing up so freaking fast. I know I say it all the time but REALLY, they are. Even Sam, who visits often, said today that their talking has really increased in the past week. They, especially Alyssa, are talk-talk-talking! They're telling stories and really aren't being too shy.

Today we took them for their first visit to the dentist. It was more of a trip to get them comfortable and used to a dentist. They did 1000% better than we had hoped for. They were excited the whole time...talkative...and listened to and did everything out dentist asked. They each took turns sitting in Lisa's lap and let Dr. Mabry count all 20 teeth...and even let her scrape some gunk off one or two teeth without flinching or complaining. AMAZING!! We really rewarded them for that. We were so thrilled it went so well.

Later this evening, we were doing our normal dance time. Lately, they have both been trying to sing along with some songs. This is the end of Dr. Worm, a classic from a group called They Might Be Giants.
